a pretty picnic
Posted: July 29, 2011 Filed under: Everyday, Family, Food, Neighborhood, Photographs 4 CommentsHere is my pretty picnic with my hubby. I had so much fun planning this meal and getting it prepared. He had grilled veggies, flank steak, brie and crackers, tomatoes with dill dip, and cherries for dessert. We live in an apartment so we use Greenlake Park as our yard.
Dinner at eight is the brian child of some creative and fabulous women. I am pleased to be a part of it.

Colorado – Summer 2011
Posted: July 20, 2011 Filed under: Friends, Photographs, Travel, Video Leave a commentPatrick and I had the pleasure of spending 2 weeks in Colorado with friends (a couple of those days were actually in Wyoming).
Fort Collins is where we stayed with E, B and little C. They took us to Wyoming for our first official camping trip. We rode bikes, drank beer, and enjoyed good conversation.
In Littleton we got to spend a couple of days with R, E, C, and G. We played games, ate Chik-fil-a, and watched the kiddos bounce around.
Trail West was a great time too. We helped out with the service staff, I got to be a ‘Wrangler” for an afternoon, and enjoyed the company of so many families spending the week at this Young Life camp.
Here is just a taste of the 2 weeks and 500+ pictures and video from our trip.
Enjoy!
Sunday in Fremont
Posted: July 17, 2011 Filed under: Neighborhood, Photographs Leave a commentAfter watching the USA women’s World Cup team lose to Japan, Patrick and I decided to get out of the house and head to the Fremont market. A visit to Theo’s, an impromptu snack, and rummaging through the antique mall…a great afternoon.
