Patrick got  a job. Junior English at Interlake High School in Bellevue.

Praise the Lord!

As you may know, our family has been on a journey this past year+:

Patrick found out he did not have a classroom to return to in the fall. Expecting the arrival of our first child in August. Brought Silas home and were a family at home for 4 months. Patrick searching for a job, sending out resumes, interviewing, waiting. Introduced Silas to our NC family in December. Got a job in January. I decided to stay home with Silas. Struggled through Patrick’s job that he didn’t like. Mourning the loss of teacher holidays and breaks. Looking at teaching jobs again.  Patrick’s job was cut. He enrolled in an intensive STESL course for July.  Sending out resumes, interviewing, waiting. Trying to balance school and family. Then a phone call, some emails, and accepting an offer.

God is good.

This past year has lead us to this: Relying on Him, finding comfort in family, accepting support from loved ones, going on with every day, seeing beauty, and praying along the way has strengthened our faith.

I am so proud of Patrick. He is a fabulous father, an incredible husband, a thoughtful teacher, and my best friend. (I love you Boo!)
